Moneyball - Bennett Miller (2011)

Well...   The message is interesting. Everything is just about money, not heart. Baseball is a great symbol - on one side, people love it, give their lives for it - eat breathe shit baseball out of that pure love of the game. On the other side is the business, the people who just want money, the players in it for all the wrong reasons. I am not a sports fan in ANY way, but for Americans baseball represents good values. Corrupting baseball is corrupting these values. Right now, every fucking thing is about money. Good people want change.. so they get involved then become trapped in the greed. Learn to walk away from shit that you can't change.
Blah blah blah.          As for the actual movie - really long, slow. I never felt connected to anything - none of the characters were developed in order to grow attached to them, to root for them, feel for them, or just know who they are.  The whole time I'm like "what is this guy's deal?" He just kept doing random shit for no reason... I couldn't figure out what his aim was, what he was striving for.  So... it's a stupid movie.

Don't watch it.
