Incredible. The purity of nature and whole-heartedness of the main character makes this film stand out among thousands of others. It also has a grimy reality to it that is strangely beautiful. As odd as this character is, we understand her and feel so heavily for her and commend her bravery. This is the von Trier I love... he knows how to capture human nature, which in later films is a bit horrific, but in this one, he chooses to capture the nature of a human who has a strong, loving, devoted heart.
